The months of Sept and Oct were CRAZY! Our new location in Malibu opened Sept. 26th. We got home from Lake Powell on Sept. 3rd-Cam went down to Malibu from the 8th-10th came home for two days. He and I were packed ready and even had Cam's Mom at our house-to watch the kids on the 12th to both go down for a week-we were driving away and I just felt like I shouldn't go so Cam took me back to the house and I took Cam's mom home and Cam drove late that night by himself and stayed till the 19th (I was sooo glad I didn't go) We then left on the 20th to go back down and left all of our kids with Amie and Sherrie-It was soooo good we were there. There was so much to do and we kept extending our stay. We came home the 26th and went back with our kids and Cam's parents on the 29th. Cam's parents stayed and helped a ton with the kids until the 4th. We ended up staying till the 8th and drove up north to sell cam's truck and we were able to make it to Jemma's baptism. We went back down on the 14th and stayed till the 21st. HOLY COW-it was crazier than I even thought. On the 29the we had a really crazy fast 1st birthday party for macie-she turned 1-on Oct. 1st. Our family went to Jumpin Jacks on the 27th for FHE and loved it and found out they did a birthday party package for a great deal and Spencer Jackson and Brigham were also celebrating their birthdays that week and we were going to miss those so we had cake for all three of them. It literally was get in get out and head to Cali. Everyone was rushed so we sang happy birthday-opened presents-the kids only jumped for maybe a 1/2 hr and we were done. During our time down there we took the kids to Mickey's Halloween Party twice-We met Toby and Josie there on a Tuesday night-it was raining but let up enough for us to have a great night. We walked on every ride! We got the kids costumes cause we didn't pack any and so we used them again when Chris, Laurie Jordan and Jemma came down the next week. Brielle also went to Disney for a full day with a daughter of an employee. What kid gets to go to Disney 3 times in 2 weeks. The kids had no idea it was a crazy month. They missed school and felt like they were on one long vacation. We went to a pumpkin patch-and went out to eat several times! We were able to enjoy Conference down there. We had a really great soft opening the week before our grand opening but the grand opening day Malibu had record breaking heat and our AC units couldn't handle it so we had some really upset guests. It was a rough two weeks. The following week we had 3 days of straight rain. Finally the third week we had some great guests and now things are pretty good. We were there so much and started to think that we should stay and look for a place to live for maybe 6 mo-a yr. We even looked at homes to buy. We searched several places for a place to rent and nothing really worked out. Now that we are home and things are running smoother we feel better about staying in St George. We may take a few more trips in the near future. But I am having a baby in 6 weeks so we may be here for a bit longer. We actually have been looking at a house here in st george to move into-we are outgrowing our current house. Below are a few pictures of the new place-these were taken before everything was totally done but I love the facility! It is in the mountains. It is beautiful! It really was tempting to move to Malibu-still is a little. We had a really great time down there. We also took the kids to the county fair with Grandpa Glen and Grandma Sherrie.
Trey sad because he wasn't tall enough for one of the rides
Kade trying to smile but was too nervous
It took a while for trey to not be terrified
Why do I love to see the kids watch things? This was some pirate play
The rain let up enough for us to get the kids costumes on.
They have trick or treat lines set up-the lines are long but they go by fast and one line practically fills the bag up. they dump handfuls of candy in their bags.
Brielle loved the dance party-Bryson hung back with Me
Trey actually was tall enough for quite a few more rides than he was a yr ago but fell asleep waiting for Bryson Brielle and Dad to ride the indiana jones ride. Again I took one for the team and watched the babies because I couldn't ride many rides-I really don't mind.
a fun pumpkin patch
kade's asleep in the stroller-the girl I asked to take this pictures was floored when I told her all of these kids were ours and she also saw I was obviously pregnant. She couldn't believe it.
My mom would die that I paid money for them to ride the ponies.
Kade inhaled the cotton candy
Trey is obsessed with motorcycles. We have gotten him a different one for the past two christmas's and he is still asking for a "real one" I don't think he will be happy until he has one like uncle Chris.
Seriously! None of this would have even been possible if this little girl wasn't such an ANGEL!!! Crazy she is one and even more crazy that we are getting another little girl. They will have so much fun together! It is already fun buying matching outfits. Not that I have had time to even shop-which is probably a good thing-don't worry Cam still seems to find the time. During all of this he sold his old truck and bought a new one. Trey's birthday is next week and I keep telling him it's after Halloween so when he asked again I told him again after Halloween and he said isn't halloween over. Lauralee and Travis are here this weekend as well as my mom and dad so the kids will get one more halloween party!! Now I need to seriously think about having this baby! I am huge as always-it's uncomfortable but I love that it's not HOT. We are very excited for baby Jada. I am so excited to be able to squeeze little Macie as well. it is hard to hold her-she is a solid chunk!!
