Trip to LA

This post would be so much more fun with pictures and I really could have gotten some fun ones but I was burned out and a little stressed about Macie. We drove down Sun. night got to our hotel at a decent hour and went to bed. We worked out Monday morning at the gym -macie slept in her car seat the whole time. We saw a few of the BL contestants working out. It was pouring rain in LA but we had an appointment to go and look at some properties for a possible new location for another BL resort. It was really a joke with the rain. Macie slept good. I was kind of ticked because we came down on sunday just for this and it was really a waste of time. Tuesday we had another good workout and then met David Norton the BL sponsor producer for breakfast. He is very anxious to get multiple locations opened! He wants 10 more in a yr-AHHH!!! We have been crazy busy. Our next available opening isn't until May 2nd. We are very close to securing an overflow location. We had Marissa Wynokur (off of the broadway Hairspray) at our spa a month ago and we spent some time working out with her-she is extremely nice! She lives in LA and offered to watch Macie during the finale so we took her up on it. We stopped by hollywood blvd ran into Gap and Mac and then dropped Macie off-i was nervous for Marissa's sake but Macie did pretty good. she had her nanny there to help. She has an 18 month old son. The finale was actually kind of fun this time. This was our 4th time going and we really aren't into the whole clapping and being crazy stuff but it was more humorous this time-Everytime the camera's were on our section of the audience we got all into it. Watching Cam for me was the best part! It was really amazing to see the contestants who had changed soo much. There were three I didn't even recognize! After the finale Marissa brought Macie to the hotel. We were staying at the same hotel of all the contestants. They had their after party there so it was convenient for us to go and meet all of the contestants. Several of the contestants are making or have plans to come out to the resort. We have several really wanting to be a part of it. We were up late that night and Cam got us up at 6am all packed and ready to hit the road. It was a nice trip. I was able to catch up on our blog.
