We survived! One day before finding out that we were moving (Nov. 12th) I decided to potty train Kade and get him off his bottle. He was addicted to his bottle of water-good that he drank so much water but we were constantly changing loaded diapers. There was no way to potty train him until he stopped the bottle. Even at night we would have to change him at least once-I say we but it was always Cam. Anyway it really amazed even me how he did just fine. We talked about being a big boy-I got him to agree and after he made it one night without a bottle the next day we did no more bottles and put on the underwear. I got a three day potty training guide from a friend and tried to stick with it. It literally was doing nothing other than not leaving his side for three days and catching him every time-even if it was a little late. We did really good the first day-except poop-and then we decided to move and spent the next 3 days moving and trying to still potty train because I didn't want to ruin what we started. I wasn't as good as I could have been so it took us about 5 days instead of 3 but Kade is officially potty trained. I think he is our earliest. going poop was the hardest but he finally did it. This is a picture of him trying. I am most amazed that he is off his bottle-I really didn't know how that would ever happen-He quit cold turkey. We have 5 days to get him sleeping in his bed. He is 2 1/2 and still sleeps in our bed. When macie was born he slept in his crib for a while and has struggled with bad dreams and would wake up several times just screaming. He has done really well this past month and I think he is outgrowing them-hopefully-because baby Jada will be here in 5 days. fortunately Macie does great!! I will be induced 6 days early on Monday.
