Jada's Turns 1

I started a tradition that I hope turns out to be fun for Jada's Birthdays. We invited everyone over to make gingerbread houses. I would love to make this into a fun tradition that everyone looks forward to especially Jada. We can have a lot of fun with it. There were a ton of cute gingerbread house cakes that I thought of making but this yr. I just put together a kit (actually Cam and the kids did) and we let that be Jada's cake.

Jada started walking 3 weeks before her first birthday. Once she learned she refused to crawl. She is a very determined little girl. She loves to play outside. She reminds me a little of trey-but way more calm. She loves to play and is quite easy as long as there is something going on.  She is kind of a serious girl-she means business. She has been in Macie's crib for the last couple months and Macie has joined Kade on the couch in our room. She taught herself how to go down the stairs. She hasn't fallen once. I never had to worry about her falling down the stairs. She takes good naps but does pretty good without them as long as she is playing. She loves to play with her siblings. She loves to go with Dad already-anytime he goes out the door she has jumped on the band wagon with everyone else and wants to go with Dad. She waddles. She reminds me of an overweight old lady when she walks and tries to bend over. I am already struggling with shoes-her feet are fat like the rest of them. She gets so excited when anyone comes home-she freaks out and wants to be a part of the action. That night Macie went with Maryann and Kade went with Leanne. the other kids stayed with us and Cam and I took off to LA early the next morning.  Kade went up north with the kemps and we came home on Wednesday and then up north that weekend for our Christmas party. The kids sang at the Dickens Festival Sat morning up north.
