Blog Catch up

It is 2:44am and Cam and I just left California. We had a mtg. with NBC to renegotiate our agreement with them. I was just going to stay home with the kids and Cam was going to go but all of our kids have been sick and Macie and Kade were both still struggling so I was not excited to stay home by myself with them and Jada so we took the three babies with us. We stopped in Barstow on the way down-Cam got a new suit for his upcoming birthday and new swim suits at the quicksilver outlet. The first night Macie cried and had a rough night and Jada was hard so I was a little nervous to be in the hotel room with the three of them the next day-all day. It turned out to be a great day. We went to the spa in the morning to check it out and visit with the staff. It had been almost 3 months since I had been there. Then I took the kids back to the hotel and Cam stayed for the mtgs. Macie and Jada both slept pretty good. I was able to catch up on the blog and order the last two yrs of my blog which I have been trying to find time to do. It doesn't sound like being in a hotel room with a 2 yr old, 1 yr. old and an infant would be fun but it was a nice break. I guess it was nice because even if I wanted to do dishes or laundry or make food I couldn't. Cam and I watched a movie both nights-except tonight our little ANGEL wasn't so much of an angel. We finally got in the car because she wouldn't stop screaming and being in a hotel room in the worst because you don't want to wake everyone else up. Macie has been our only baby that has to be in a crib in another room or she doesn't sleep well. Being sick on top of it didn't help-so we are headed home. The joys of being a parent ;) The good news is she is now asleep in the car and Kade and Jada are both being good and we will make it home in time for the kids to wake up-so no sleeping for us. We will also be able to make Bryson's game. We left the older three kids with Whitney Barben-My cousins daughter-at our house. She goes to Dixie. 

Pictures of up north-New yrs day

With 5 kids I had to give up chatting on the phone and now with 6-pretty much even taking a shower is a luxury! I have taken the time to go running in the morning with Cam and the kids and that has helped keep me 1/2 sane. We had such a nice 2 week break from school and had time to enjoy Jada.  

New yrs day after our New yrs eve party we got up early and left the house around 8am to head up north to visit My Mom and Dad. We weren't able to see them over the holidays cause my Dad had his prostate take out on the 22nd and is also in a lot of back and neck pain. We brought Jordan and Jemma home and wanted to let the kids go sledding

A very common thing right now. This is Kade and Jada but often times I have Macie and Jada or all three on my lap. Macie is quite independent. She really just walks around and entertains herself. She is so fun to sit and watch. I am often sitting in this chair watching her move objects from one place to another. We have often found random objects in our shower. I have to be careful about leaving anything I don't want misplaced within her reach. She has done so good with Jada. She just comes over and gives her kisses and then goes back doing her thing. I love taking time to hold Macie when I can. She is sooo big! Kade is addicted to Trey's cowboy hat and boots. He wears them everywhere. The other day we went to treys basketball game and he had to have his basketball shorts with the hat and boots. 

Dani-wouldn't let me get her in the picture with Jada but I had to get a picture of her holding Jada. I don't think I have one with Trey Kade or Macie but they are all in Love with Miss Dani. Infact last sunday Trey was upset with me because I told him he couldn't have a popsicle right then. I told him he could have one after dinner so he said, "fine I am going to live with Miss Dani" I was feeding Jada so I said fine. he went in his room and got his shoe basket and threw his church clothes and cowboy hat in it and took off. He got to the corner and told Bryson that he had to choose the right. I wish I could have gotten a picture of him walking across the street holding his basket-that's as big as him. 

Jeff and Kayla and Dani and Wade came over for pizza and a movie-Kayla's boy Kayze on our floor asleep. 

It has felt SOOOO good to workout again. I really hope and think this will be the last time I have to lose 50 lbs :) Of course if it's not I will be fine but exciting to think this may be the last time it has to hurt so bad. It is amazing how much harder working out is with that extra weight-but so nice to be able to breath not pregnant. This is the park behind our house. It has a track we can go around while the kids play. We have been doing the stop sign trail at least three days a week. It is hard to beat that workout. It was sat. so we brought all the kids-they didn't last very long. Maryann met us there with Jay and Sam. Dani comes with us a lot-which is nice cause I can put Jada in her stoller-if not we have two strollers for Kade Macie and Jada. 

This will probably be the closest to blue eyes that any of our kids will have. I am sure they'll turn brown but there are days they look pretty blue. It's hard to tell in this picture but in the sun they looked blue. 

Kade helping out. I can not keep him away from her. She is a little congested. It has been so hard with them all sick-trying to keep her away from them. They love to kiss her-on the face.
