Seriously-how cute is she!!!
My cousin Haley met us in California to help watch the kids while we had interviews. I think she was ready to go home after the first day. They wore her out. Only because they all wanted her attention. They know they won't get it from me all the time so they don't try but Brielle wanted her hair done, Bryson wanted to play kickball, Trey wanted her attention and Kade and Macie took all of her attention. She was sooo good to have there with us. We figured out a few things that would help make it easier for the next two days. Our days were filled with interviews. Some really good and some not so good. We found some great candidates for the Malibu location. We go again next week.
Calamigos is the place our spa is going to be at. It is beautiful and huge. There is even a merry go round on location. The kids had fun
Eventhough Kade is one of the most demanding right now-and ever since he was born he just smiles and melts your heart. He is such fun sweet boy. He repeats EVERYTHING you say. He is such a talker! Yesterday he said, I play with your phone Mom. He hears the other kids say that and when I told him yes he got so excited.
Cam took Bryson and Trey to the Angels vs Dodgers game. They had a ton of fun-minus the traffic
We drove down along the beach and let the kids get out. Bryson, Brielle and Trey had fun in the water. Kade does not like the ocean.
So the week before we were supposed to do our first trip of many down to california with the kids we were up north and Kade screamed the entire way up and back home. He does not travel well so I talked Cam into checking into a motorhome. We shopped around with Laur and Travis and Cam and Travis drove one home that day. We found one 10yrs old with only 20000 miles and quite inexpensive. We did not want to get one and be in too much we actually even talked to the dealership and asked if we could just rent it for the week and decide if we wanted to buy it. So it worked out!! Cam was NOT excited to drive it but when he could just pull over and sleep at 3am he was hooked and I got a kick out of how happy all the kids were. We will get a lot of use out of it. I am excited We left Sunday night at 10pm drove til three, pulled over and slept and got up at 630 and finished the drive. It was awesome the kids slept the entire trip-definetly our new plan from now on. Cam packed my birthday presents and wrapped them. He had me open them first thing-that's why I look so cute! was sooo excited to get a sewing machine! I have been giving him hints for a while now. He also got me a really nice watch. We had a really nice day. that night we ate at Red Robin.

Macie was great and even slept sooo good in her porta crib in the motorhome
one of Kade's favorite spots.
The other nice thing about the motorhome was being able to pack milk and food and keep it all week in the fridge and no need for bathroom breaks
