Our crazy week!
Well today was the first day that I really did nothing but play around with my blog and as you can see I had fun. We have had a crazy two weeks. We went up for thanksgiving which was fun and ended up staying over sunday to pick up Dave (a guest that stayed at our spa for 6 months to lose weight to go on a mission) at the airport monday morning. We took him back to st george to let him say goodbye to everyone here before cam took him up to the MTC on Wednesday morning. Cam came back home that night. Friday we turned back around and drove up north to go to a Kelsch Christmas party. We have known about the party for a while so even though we were sick of driving we knew we should still go and see family so we did. We weren't expecting the crazy snow on saturday morning. Anyone who has driven the stretch from st george in the snow knows it is not fun. What is even crazier is that we didn't even go to the party. Cam didn't want to risk a dangerous drive home after the party that didn't start until 6pm and he didn't feel like he should miss two sundays in a row so we packed it up and left for home at 2pm. The kids were not happy!! I am so grateful that Cam was adamant about leaving because I thought, we came up this far we should probably just go but it was the scariest drive home and I can't imagine doing it in the dark. We drove 20 miles an hour most of the drive! It was so nice to arrive in st george with not a flake of snow on the ground. I know when everyone up north woke up to snow it made their day well not ours. We were able to see Greggy's game on friday night which really made the drive worth it. It was so fun to see. He scored 25 points. This is his last year at AFHS so we hope to see as many as we can. I need to get a picture of Cam but I am waiting until he gets a little puffier because he got his wisdom teeth out on Monday. The funniest part is that he wouldn't let me go to the grocery store by myself because he wanted to make sure he got enough ice cream, shakes, pudding, you name it he found it. He was still drugged up walking through the store and we stopped at the movies store on the way home. He really hasn't taken advantage of the situation as much as he could. he was working that day. He is really getting sick of not being able to eat and take big bites. I am excited to be home for a week.

We also made the drive home from Salt Lake in the bad snow storm. It wasn't fun - it makes a long ride with kids. Luckily we had the dvd player so they could watch movies!!! I just got your message about yoga - I'm sad I missed it. Trek has one more week of softball on Wednesday nights and then I can come all the time. p.s. - your blog looks so cute!
I don't miss those drives. Sorry we missed you last weekend. Poor Cam! :)
I am glad you made it safe, but geeze, maybe you should have just stayed until Sunday??? Was it really worth it? I get anxiety thinking about driving in the snow. I hate it. It was fun to chat with you! Can't wait to see puffy Cam he he.

Cute, Cute blog! I love it! It takes forever to change, huh!! Hey, I really really want to join you guys in your walks! That one week I just had people coming right at that time, the Abbie was sick, and now it is so cold, plus, I really think that I would have a baby on the trail if I did! I have to take it so easy for the next few weeks, I have my babies so early, and this one seems ready, and I REALLY don't want to have a Christmas/New Year baby! I talked to Cam tonight at the church, and he said you would probably get excited to deliver it on the trail, that you are always up for some adventure! Ha!! I am excited for the little Nativity thing at Tuachaun tomorrow night! That will be fun! Your littel Brielle is so dang cute! I just love her in class! Today I just had her and Cam. It was so fun! They are the cutest little things ever!
Hey Michelle...thanks for the invite to Tuachan tonight. I am excited! Sorry Luke didn't come to nursery yesterday, he has a cold and I was afraid he would get the other kids sick so we just stayed home. See you tonight!
