Our weekend trip to Matthew's birthday party

Trey had pink eye. It really added to his pirate costume. I hope it stays until Halloween.

We went to Flagstaff on Thurs. to visit Laur and Travis and to go to Matthew's 4th birthday party. We watched Cars on the way there and thought it was cool that Laur and Travis lived right off of route 66. Laur took me on an awesome bike ride in her back yard (the forest) it was cool to feel like you were in the middle of nowhere but you were only minutes from her home. It was a hard workout. Now I know how people feel when they walk the stop sign with us and don't know how much further to the top. Saturday was a fun filled day. The kids made halloween buckets, decorated cookies, had a pumpkin hunt, broke a pinata, Matthew opened lots of presents, and he filled the kids buckets up with lots of goodies. Laur made yummy soup and salads and a delicious chocolate pumpkin cake (picture below). It was a party that will be hard to top next year. John and Leanne came also. The cousins have sooo much fun together. Thanks Laur and Travis!

Cute costumes. We showed Grandma everyone's blog when she was here, she does have internet, I think unless it has expired. She was going to check it out. Do you like the Header picture on the JOhnson Blog? Nice huh? Cute family, I'm glad you made the effort to go to Flag, hope we can make it soon. Mom
